No. Blood donation is not recommended while you are fasting.
The Government clearly states that donors should not be fasting or observing a fast during blood donation.
During fasting, your body may have lower energy reserves and reduced fluid intake, increasing the chance of dizziness or fainting.
It is better to donate after completing your fast and eating a proper meal.
If you are observing a religious or personal fast, schedule your donation for another suitable day.
❤️ There will always be another opportunity to donate. Donate when your body is fully prepared to help someone else.
