If you decide that you no longer want to use BDOI®, you can request deletion of your BDOI® account through the account or support process provided by BDOI®. Deleting your account will permanently delete the account and the associated chats, messages, and other content covered by BDOI®'s account-deletion policy.
Deleting your BDOI® account is a permanent action. It is different from simply logging out or temporarily stopping your use of the platform.
Once the account-deletion process is completed, you will no longer be able to use that account to access the associated BDOI® features and content.
Before requesting deletion, carefully review any information or content that you may want to keep for your own records, such as:

Your BDOI® donation history forms part of your digital donor journey.
If you have recorded donations on BDOI®, review your donation history before deleting your account.

If your account contains information related to:
review and retain any information you may want before deleting your account.
Once the account and associated content are deleted according to the applicable deletion process, you may no longer be able to access those records through your BDOI® account.
Account deletion should be considered a permanent decision.
After deletion:
If you later wish to use BDOI®, you may need to create a new account, subject to the registration requirements applicable at that time.
If you simply want to stop using BDOI® temporarily, you may not need to delete your account.
You can instead stop using the platform and return later, provided your account remains active.
This can allow you to continue your existing BDOI® journey without permanently deleting your account and its associated content.
If you are unsure about account deletion or cannot find the appropriate deletion option, contact BDOI® through the available support/contact process before proceeding.
If you contact BDOI® regarding deletion, clearly state that you are requesting account deletion.
Deleting your BDOI® account is a personal decision. Before you proceed, make sure you have retained anything important from your donor journey. If you decide to remain part of BDOI®, your journey can continue to Record • Track • Connect • Recognise • Inspire.
