Yes. BDOI® is designed as a nationwide platform for voluntary blood donation and is intended to serve individual members, donors, communities, and eligible organizations across India.
The name Blood Donors of India reflects BDOI®'s nationwide focus.
A donor does not need to live in a particular city or state to become part of the BDOI® community.
People from different states and union territories can participate in BDOI® according to the registration and feature availability applicable to them.
The platform is designed to support a connected community where members can:
Blood banks, hospitals, NGOs, and other eligible organizations from different parts of India can also seek to participate in BDOI®.
Organization-specific access may require verification by the BDOI® team.
Some BDOI® services may depend on location, available listings, participating organizations, or the current stage of platform development.
For example, the availability of a particular blood bank, donor listing, community feature, or organization service may depend on whether the relevant information has been added or activated.
Therefore, nationwide platform availability does not mean that every individual service is necessarily available in every city at the same time.
BDOI® is intended to grow progressively across India.
As more donors and eligible organizations participate, the platform can develop a broader network of information, recognition, education, and community engagement.
Wherever you are in India, your donor journey matters. Join the BDOI® community, record your contribution, connect with fellow lifesavers, and help inspire voluntary blood donation across the country.
