Description:

- Biological Markers: Has A and Rh antigens on red blood cells; contains Anti-B antibodies in plasma.
- A+ blood donor can give red blood cells to: A+ and AB+ patients.
- A+ blood receiver can receive red blood cells from: A+, A-, O+, and O- donors.
- Plasma / Platelet Rule: A+ donors can give plasma to A and O types, and receive plasma from A and AB types.
- Donor Insight: A+ is one of the most common blood groups. Platelets and red cells from A+ donors are in constant demand for surgical and cancer patients.
