Biological Markers: Has A, B, and Rh antigens on red blood cells; contains no ABO antibodies in plasma.

AB+ blood donor can give red blood cells to: AB+ patients only.

AB+ blood receiver can receive red blood cells from: All blood types (Universal Red Cell Recipient).

Plasma / Platelet Rule: AB+ donors can give plasma to all blood types (Universal Plasma Donor), but can only receive plasma from AB types.

Donor Insight: While AB+ red blood cells are only for AB+ recipients, AB+ plasma and platelets are universal and crucial for emergency burn and trauma therapy.
